I have been asked to find out the following: 1) Is PostScript Level 2 available yet, or are dates available for its scheduled release? 2) Will there be an upgrade to TranScript to support PostScript Level 2? 3) Will the promised MacOS and PC drivers be available on the Adobe info server? Thanks. -- William Roberts ARPA: liam@cs.qmw.ac.uk Queen Mary & Westfield College UUCP: liam@qmw-cs.UUCP Mile End Road AppleLink: UK0087 LONDON, E1 4NS, UK Tel: 071-975 5250 (Fax: 081-980 6533)

We are working with our OEMs on a number of Level 1 and Level 2 products. You should expect to see the first Level 2 products mid-1991. Specific product delivery dates and specifications will be announced by our OEMs, as always. 2. Yes, we are working on an upgrade to TranScript to support PostScript Level 2. We cannot announce any specific availability dates at this time. 3. The Macintosh and Windows 3.0 drivers will not be available on the Adobe information server. They will be bundled with Level 2 printers, various software applications, and available as a retail product at a very reasonable price.
