[comp.lang.postscript] VMS Scriptprinter queue to a file

schoenzeit@vixvax.mgi.com (Loren Schoenzeit) (03/08/91)

	On a VAX/VMS system:

	I would like to send the output from a DEC Scriptprinter Queue to
	a file. In the file I would like to capture the PostScript that
	would be going to the laser printer. This file could then be
	viewed in the DECwindows CDA Viewer, etc ...

	Code someone please email me suggestions and or code to
	help ??

Try the following:

$ convert /document textfile/format=text postscriptfile/format=ps
$ view /interface=decwindows postscriptfile/format=ps

Do this instead of using the ScriptPrinter software explicitly.
