[comp.lang.postscript] Is there a PostScript to .PCX or .TIF converter?

mcmahan@netcom.COM (Dave Mc Mahan) (03/29/91)

I'm trying to convert a word processor output file from WordPerfect into a
form that can be sent by an internal fax modem. The vendor I have talked to
says that the fax modem can accept only .PCX or .TIF files for transmission.
I can get WordPerfect to create output to a PostScript file, but I need to
convert the PostScript file to the .PCX or .TIF file format for the fax
modem to send. Does anybody know of a means to do this? If you have source
or an MS-DOS executable, I'd like to get a copy of it. Please either post
a response to this newsgroup or e-mail me directly. If you know of an ftp
site for something like this, I'd also like to hear about that.
