[] I have ftp'd a number of fonts from the cica.cica.indiana.edu archive, which has PostScript fonts for Windows in PFB and PFM format. My machine is a Sun386i with OpenWindows, and I would like to use the fonts with Pageview, Sun's PostScript interpreter, and also with TeX and dvips by Tomas Rokicki. Therefore, I need two files: "Normal" PostScript font files that Pageview would understand, and AFM files that describe the font metrics and can be converted to TeX Font Metric files (tfm). The PFB files look OK except for a few non-printable characters at the front of the file, and then a whole wad of them after a line containing "currentfile eexec", and then some more at the end. My question: How do I convert these two formats (PFB & PFM) into a format that Pageview and TeX can understand? Thanks! E-Mail replies would be much appreciated! -- Glenn Lewis -- glewis%pcocd2.intel.com@Relay.CS.Net | These are my own opinions... not Intel's
