I'm preparing a document which contains both text and graphics. Thats normally no problem because MS Word allows import of EPS images and wraps the text around them. The problem here is that I want the text to fall WITHIN the graphics image. I took the encapsulated postscript from my graphics program and manually edited it into the postscript output from MS word and got the graphics and text to overlap but the encapsulated postscript evidently lost the absolute placement information. Completely reasonable! My next ploy will be to print the full postscript output file from my graphics program, diff it with the EPS output to exract the positioning information, then combine the text programs postscript with the EPS graphics with the absolute positioning information from the graphics postscript file. Now the questions... Is this a reasonable approach? Is there a better, e.g. easier, way? Am I beating my head against an undoable? Any general hints? ...? Thanks much for your assistance, as you can see this isn't my specialty :-). You may post replys or send e-mail, I do read the group. I will summarize replys if there is any interest.
