I am trying to write a quick-n-dirty output routine for my digital logic simulator (written in Haskell--your favorite functional language, but that's another story.) Anyways, because the numbers involved are 0 and 1, it would seem reasonable to "5 72 scale" to get a 1-inch trace for a 0/1 transition. However, all lines that are thicker than a hairline look bizarre because they too are scaled accordingly. Any way around this? Please mail, as I'm not a regular reader (:-<) -David rochberg@cs.yale.edu many thanks in advance. -- "Awful things await really bad people." -Jenny Holzer
