[comp.lang.postscript] Idle Time Scan Conversion

Adobe manuals and printer supplements don't cover some
questions that I have about the font cache and the idle
time scan conversion control.

First question -- I assume that if a hard disk is attached to
a printer device, that some of the disk is used for font
cacheing. Is there any way to control how much of the disk
is used as a font cache, other than what appears to be the
case, that the cache occupies what's left after you set the
amount of disk for user files?

Second question -- You can control which fonts are prime
candidates for idle time scan conversion using (I think)
setcacheparams. Arguments to setcacheparams are a list of
font numbers. The LaserWriter IINTX supplement gives a list
of these numbers and their correspondence to specific font names.
What about fonts that aren't in this list? For example, what's
the font number for Ryumin-Light? Where are the global list
of font numbers defined, if they in fact are defined?
