I am having problems with a Qume Scripten Laser Printer. Qume U.K are refusing to help, as they say the printer is 4 years old and they don't make or support that printer anymore. The problem is that regularly the printer will refuse to print from Microsoft's Word5, and Lotus 123 v2.2. Microsoft say the problem lies with the printer driver which is their standard postscript driver, they say that their driver is working at Adobe 43 and the Qume is working at Adobe level 47. As I am not a postscript buff, does anyone out there have a driver that would solve this problem or alternative solution?. The printer is working from the parallel port and the Word5 is running on a standard Olivetti XT. Please could you reply by e-mail. Phil.
