We recently received a donated Tek Phaser II (color Postscript) printer with drivers. I've been trying to test the Windows 3.0 drivers provided with the printer. Unfortunately the printer is connected to a Mac so I have to create the PS file on a disk and then use a program on the Mac called "Send PS" to send the PS file to the printer. This works ok for the sample files provided on the disk, but *I* can't seem to generate anything that will print. I *thought* I should be able to use the Windows Paintbrush package, choose the right driver, then "print" whatever I wanted. The Mac "Send PS" program displays the first part of a PS error message "[ error;" then won't tell me more. I've tried sending EHANDLER.PS to the printer before I print, but the error messages don't print? Does the Phaser need an enhanced EHANDLER.PS? Is it that Paintbrush is to dumb to really write the file correctly? There are color PS commands in the output file; EHANDLER and my B&W PS printer tell me so! Any ideas would be greatly apperciated.... Please email me at: jprice@prime.cob.ohio-state.edu ************************************************************************** Jeffrey R.
