What are we doing with yet another non-sources thread in alt.sources?
Can't this drivel be taken elsewhere? Many people archive this group
for the SOURCES it contains. My ~news/newsgroups file says:

alt.sources Alternative source code, unmoderated. Caveat Emptor.

I considered mailing this to the originator of this thread, but I chose
to post so that others would KEEP NON-SOURCE POSTINGS OUT OF HERE!!!!

Unfortunately Terry Hull, not wanting to set a good example, didn't
direct follow-ups to anywhere else, almost ensuring an even longer
non-sources thread in alt.sources.

Hence this article, which tries to repair some of the damage.

I've sat on my temper for several weeks, while you numbskulls yackked your
brains out, cross posting your DISCUSSION to ALT.SOURCES. Alt.sources is
supposed to be for SOURCE postings. How'd you like it if I started
cross-posting all source listings into news.admin???

I figured if I just kept quiet that the discussion about usenet in Germany
would finally die down. Now I see someone is trying to just branch the
discussion onto a new topic. I am sorry, I have had enough.

Flame me via email, if you wish. I'd flame you via email but there are too
many of you marching morons.
