viewers

I'm looking for source for GIF viewers/encoders/decoders in any language
for any operating system.  C language for DOS or Unix would be best, but
anything will help.
Pointers to other sources would be helpfull, such as bbs names/numbers, or
names of shareware/commercial stuff which I could get the source to.

Okay.  Before anyone else sends me another flame for posting here, I tried to
cancel it, okay?  I don't think it worked, since I couldn't answer a question
