[net.micro] looking for a board to make your pc an Oscilloscope

reza0@ihlpl.UUCP (H. Reza Zarafshar) (09/26/86)

I have seen ads in magazines advertising a board that plugs
into a pc and makes it an oscilloscope. I cann't find the
magazines though. Does anyone know of such board? Has anyone
ever tried one? I would appreciate any help, pointer etc.

Heathkit manufactures a kit that does this. It is an external box
using a serial interface to the computer. It is called 'Computer
Oscilloscope' Model #IC-4802. Sells for about $400.

Heath has a real nice hardware/software thing to do just that. It is
connected by RS-232C (I believe). I am told that it works real well.
Current catalog lists it as a dual trace 50MHz digital storage 'scope
with a price of $399.95 kit, 575.00 assembled.
