Greetings all. I have been looking on and off for a couple of years now for a decent shell for System V (3.2). All the shells with command recall etc like tcsh and zsh and shell addons like fep and reactive keyboard seem to be only written for BSD systems. I also have access to a Sun 386i and have had no real trouble getting these things to work on that. However, System V is a real pain in the wazoombas. So if anyone there can point me to some decent sources or information, I'd really appreciate it. I'm using Interactive 386/ix 2.0.2 if it matters. ,-----------------------*----------------------------------------------------. | "There's nothing quite | PSImail: psi%050529452300070::SDOUGIAMA | | so fun as a good, | Internet: SDOUGIAMA@cc.curtin.edu.au | | solid poke in the | Bitnet: SDOUGIAMA%cc.curtin.edu.au@cunyvm.bitnet | | eye with a pencil." | UUCP : uunet!munnari.oz!cc.curtin.edu.au!SDOUGIAMA| `------------------------*----------------------------------------------------'

I'm posting this since mail to you was bouncing... Try getting bash-1.07.tar.Z (or bash-1.07.CWRU.tar.Z, whatever that is), from somewhere like ftp.adelaide.edu.au:/pub/GNU. Good luck, Andrew
