We are working on IBM PS/2 70 386 machines and plan to buy AIX ( IBM version of UNIX), X windows, MOTIF and AT&T C++. Our question is whether C++ and MOTIF work on AIX and X windows? Any suggestions will be helpful. Please email to ndeep@hubcap.clemson.edu thank you

I need some good articles/books on Direct Access Storage Devices (DASD), preferably a very technical discussion. Detailed hardware/software decription of IBM (or not) DASD is helpful.
