Can we, perhaps, move this UNIX Today! discussion to one group, and one that is a little more appropriate than comp.org.*? The original message didn't belong in even 1/3 of the places it was posted and the ensuing discussion certainly doesn't belong in most of the listed newsgroups. I have directed followups to comp.misc.
