[comp.protocols.iso] Info wanted on OSI Porting Services

unit@hpindda.HP.COM (Tom Engleman) (09/15/88)

vendor of OSI softfware whose key role is to port OSI Stack functionality
from machine to machine, and then sell and support that software?

The Wollongong Group has been successful at doing this for the ARPA/TCP/IP
world, and I'd be quite surprised if market demand hasn't created a
similar solution for the OSI environment.

The key here is not necessarily a desire to buy and port the technology
from a 3rd party, but to acually have the 3rd party use specified
interfaces to the kernel services and Link Level Interfaces to port thier
code to...(i.e. we provide the interfaces, they do the port).

Of particular interest is the x.400 on a TP0/2/4 transport port.

If you know of such a vendor match with the above scenarios, I'd be
interested in the name, and a possible contact.

Please E-Mail me here at "unit%hpinddf@hplabs.hp.com"

or respond directly to this notes group...

Thanks,
