I have a pretty old document that mentions that ISO/TC 97/SC 21 was working on a database access protocol based on remote operations. In addition, on the ISODE mail conference, someone mentioned DIS 9579 as a database access protocol standard. Does anyone know the status of that work and someone on the relevant working group that might be willing to give me information about it? Thanks. Dan Nessett
