Being relatively new to the net, I hope I've chosen the right newsgroup to post this too... Can anyone out there supply me with a name and internet address of anyone on (presumably) the CCTA committee that deals with UK GOSIP profile w.r.t X.400? OR if anyone else is familiar with the profile, could they comment on this 'interpretation' issue. It concerns Deferred Delivery. Should the local domain always be responsible for deferring a message for which a deferral time has been specified? If it can't defer locally, should it then just take the position that hopefully there is some other domain (either the destination or some intermediate ADMD/PRMD) that may be able to do defer it? What position should a destination MTA take when faced with a message that has not yet been deferred, and this recipient domain is incapable of deferring the message - should it deliver anyway (if it can) or non-deliver?? Comments will be greatfully received! Thanx in advance, Tony.
