[comp.protocols.iso] OSI software for PCs

cja@castle.ed.ac.uk (C Adie) (01/16/90)

I've been asked by the Joint Network Team for the UK academic community
to identify a suitable OSI stack for use under MS DOS. We are
interested in an implementation of Transport, Session, Presentation,
ROSE and ACSE (we already have suitable implementations of layers 1-3).

In the US, I'm aware of the offerings from Touch and Retix. In the UK,
there are stacks under development by Net-Tel and Compass. Are there
any others which we should be looking at?
