Anyone seen document which will tell how mapping between FTP and FTAM should be done? (Like RFC987 in messaging). Any help would appreciated.

Why not just run the code? The MITRE corporation wrote an excellent FTP/FTAM gateway a couple of years for the ISODE. You can find it in the latest ISODE release (an openly available implementation of the upper-layers of OSI). Drop a note to bug-isode@nisc.nyser.net if you want information on how to get a copy. /mtr
