I am doing some research on radio-modem protocols. I have had little success at profession bookstores, other than a chapter or two on what a radio-modem protocol does. Are there any protocols specifically designed/developed for radios? I am particularly interested in the HF/VHF/UHF bandwidth range. I would like (wish list) the protocol to be organized around a "protocol stack" like OSI's, but at this point I will take anything. Can someone please let me know where I can get further information.
