Gack. The citation of my master's report in the window management bibliography contains a lot of misinformation: "Halbert: Programming by Example, Xerox Tech. Report/Stanford CS Dep't Report ... The papers by Halbert and Myers relate to the CEDAR Programming Environment developed at Xerox. ..." I'm at Berkeley, not Stanford. The report doesn't discuss window management at all, except that I briefly describe Star. And it contains no information about Cedar. --Dan Halbert

If there are any other errors in the bibliography that you know of, please post them. I did not have the time to track them all down. I notice that net.works has become quite quiet over the last few months; has it been supplanted by some other medium? What ARE the "workstation development community's" means for conversing about their work? p. rowley, univ. waterloo
