I've been studying some of the ISO standards related to CMIS and found some confusing information (what just one??). In DP 10165 "Structure of Management Information" Part I section 5.2.1 "Management Operations - Attribute Oriented Operations".they list several possible operations, including: 1) Get attribute value, 2) Replace attribute value, 3) Set-to-default value, 4) Add attribute value, and 5) Remove attribute value. But the CMIS and CMIP specification only support GET and SET with no distinction between the various flavors of SET. All the various flavors of SET look useful, but I can't figure out how to use them. -- Bob Stockwell Pacific Bell pacbell.com!ptsfa!res
