[comp.protocols.iso] product availability for frame-relaying

REIJS@SURFNET.NL (01/11/91)

Hello all of you,

Does somebody (individual or supplier) have information on the product
availibility for frame relaying equipment (or is there another distribution
list where I beter can put this question?). I am making this
inventorization to see how soon frame relaying could be used within a
production network in Europe (it is not yet known if it will be used, but
this information will be used to decide).

Points which are important in this inventorization are:
- availability of beta-test and real commercial products
- interface to other access protocols (like X.25, DOD-IP, CLNP, DECNET,
SNA, ect.) and when these are available,
- The speeds implemented (or planned) (trunk and frame-relaying and 3 level
  protocols access),
- the maximum throughput on one access port (frame-relaying and 3 level
  protocols).
- Furthermore it is interresting to know the networkmanagement protocol and
the internode protocol of the nodes.

If I receive information, I will make a summary back to this list.

Thanks for helping me.

All the best,
