[comp.protocols.iso] OSI Training Sources

lstowell@pyrnova.pyramid.com (Lon Stowell) (03/08/91)

Some readers have requested a summary of responses to a prior
posting requesting sources for OSI training. These are posted
for information--with no recommendations either way implied.

PSC has an extensive catalog of over 40 courses. Some of these are
scheduled right in San Jose this Summer. Other courses are scheduled
in Vancouver, B.C., Ottawa and Toronto.

I think The GOSIP Institute is also doing OSI training. It's run by
Richard desJardins, former chair of the OSI subcommittee. He did the
"How to GOSIP" class for Interop, and has also done X.400, lower
layers, and other classes. Phone is (301) 849 3148.

There are several, including the organization I work for. Give
Bill Horst a call (703-883-2730) and he'll give you the scoop.
