I am interested in knowing the major changes between the X.25 recommendations (1980) and the X.25 (1984) regarding the following : - LAP B - the m, d , q bits - the Permanent Virtual Circuits (PVCs) Regarding the above, if there is an implementation of the 1980 version of X.25, can it be used to directly interface with an X.25 implementation of X.25(1984)? If not, what are the things to look for? Could any X.25 whiz out there, help me please? Please email your responses to me at the address given below.
