Hi! I'm afraid if I should post this newsgroup. I installed cmu-snmp1.1b. but I cannot get any information except ifentry group. If I type snmpget mygateway public interfaces.iftable.ifentry.ifoutoctets.1 then snmp returns data. But if I type for example sympget mygateway public system.sysdescr.1 then snmp returns Error in packet. Reason: There is no such variable name in this MIB. This name doesn't exist: .iso.org.dod.internet.mgmt.mib.system.sysDesc r.1 So I mail to sw0l+snmp@andrew.cmu.edu. but I don't have any response yet. Did cmu quit this project ? If anybody knows news about cmu_snmp, please tell me quickly. I welcome any news.
