IBM has issued a Statement of Direction, to provide MAP (and
MMS) support on the RISC System/6000. A prototype was demonstrated at the
MAP/TOP users group meeting in Washington, 1990.

HP has had MAP 3.0 (FTAM, MMS, X.500 over full stack and 802.4) product on its
HP 9000 series 800 line (HP-UX) for over two years. Apparently sales are brisk.
HP also supports MAP on 802.3.
