Thanks Bill ***************************************************************************** TEMPORARY POSITION JUNIOR SYSTEMS PROGRAMMER Position is available from September to December, 1988. Duties: - Providing hcr for software and hardware at the operating system and utilities level for a diversified micro, mini and mainframe environment. - Installing and maintaining all UNIX or look-alike operating systems including the operating system, utilities and application tools. Other operating systems may be assigned in the future. - Providing input to feasibility studies, product evaluations and implementation of all hardware, operating systems, utilities and the network. - Writing software drivers or application systems as required. - Gathering data for capacity planning, performance monitoring and tuning of assigned operating systems and data networks. - acting as resource person to users for troubleshooting and training as required. - monitoring disk usage on assigned computers. Qualifications: - Exposure to the UNIX operating system environment. - Good interpersonal skills both written and verbal. - Ability to complete assignments with minimum supervision. - Ability to perform effectively as a team member. - Experience with preparing statistical and analytical reports.
