I am looking for qualified technical support people to work in an exciting
environment at Apple Computer in Cupertino, CA. I manage the Direct Response
Center, an 800# subscription based hotline technical support organization
for Apple users. I will be expanding the hotline's scope of support in the
next several months and am aiming to stay ahead of the hiring game to ensure
the highest possible quality of support.

The individuals for which I am looking must have a passion for assisting
others, must be intimate with UNIX System V.2/BSD 4.2, should have a
working knowledge of networking in a UNIX environment and must have good
communication skills. Specific knowledge of TCP/IP, NFS and Ethernet
would be helpful, and experience using the Apple Macintosh would be a plus.

You will be providing direct telephone technical support to Apple customers
in various marketing channels. You will be responsible for building knowledge
in an expert system database, following up on problems escalated into Apple
engineering and more. I am looking for someone with experience helping
others and whose educational experience is equivalent to a BS CS/EE, ME, CE
or other related coursework. You should be an enthusiastic individual
with a proclivity toward rapid change and fast learning. You should be
articulate and able to convey highly technical information in a sensible
logical manner.

Apple will pay to relocate you, if necessary. If you are interested and
feel that you can contribute to my team, please respond by sending your
resume and a brief introductory letter to:
