Numerical Design Limited is seeking a staff programmer to participate in writing, documenting, and supporting high quality image synthesis software. Knowledge of C programming and UNIX is mandatory. Familiarity with microcomputers (IBM PC/AT, Macintosh, Amiga) and Sun Workstations (or similar systems) and an interest in 3-D graphics and computer image synthesis is also desirable. At least a B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline is required. Numerical Design produces image synthesis software which is used as the rendering component of several 3-D animation, presentation graphics, and CAD systems. Our development work is performed on Sun Workstations. Numerical Design is located in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, close to the University of North Carolina and less than 15 minutes from the Research Triangle Park.
