                      POSITION IN COMPUTING SCIENCE

                         UNIVERSITY OF LETHBRIDGE

Assistant Professor;  probationary (tenure-track) appointment.

Ph.D. in Computer Science.  Applicants nearing completion
of a Ph.D. are also invited to apply.  The University, primarily an
undergraduate liberal arts institution, is committed to excellence in teaching
and scholarship.

Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be expected to teach a variety of undergraduate
courses in computing science, to develop a continuing research program, and to
participate in the general operation of the department.

Salary (1988-89): Assistant Professor $32,560 minimum
