More junior positions will involve development and support of graphics products on microcomputer, supermicrocomputer, minicomputer, and mainframe computers. Senior positions will involve design and development of graphics applications on the same range of platforms as well as project leader/management duties. This list of requirements identifies the skills we are looking for. Items at the beginning of the list are more important than those at the end, and compensating skills will, of course, be considered. - graphics software development experience - solid C programming and debugging skills - experience developing highly-interactive systems - development experience on PC's using MS-DOS and other OS' - development team experience - disciplined programming skills - experience with formal and/or informal development methodologies - diversified background in programming/computer science - UNIX low-level application interfacing skills - development experience on workstations - network and communication experience (Ethernet, Novell, ASync) - familiarity with windowing software (programming under and development of) - object-oriented programming (e.g. C++) - MacIntosh program development experience - development experience with other computers, operating systems, and languages (IBM, VAX, MVS, VMS, FORTRAN, Assemblers, etc.) - graphics standards knowledge - experience developing large systems Salary is commensurate with experience.
