[misc.jobs.offered] PC, unix, Primos software development

sid@brambo.UUCP (Sid Van den Heede) (01/09/90)

Bramalea Software Systems is a small software house backed by a large
real estate company. We develop and market worldwide productivity
tools for minicomputers and PCs. Current projects include networked
electronic mail, a CPU scheduling subsystem, and a security product.

We currently have an opening for a software developer. Initially the
location is in our Brampton office. This office is moving to the
Yorkdale shopping centre in February or March 1990. You should be a
self-starter, capable of working independently and with others on
projects with minimum supervision. You will be expected to handle
projects from initial design through development and final product
stages. You will have the opportunity to be involved in many areas of
our operation. You should be able to deal with customers and
prospective customers courteously. Some travel may be involved.

The hardware currently includes Prime superminicomputers, a Prime EXL
unix machine, and IBM compatible PCs. The network includes Ethernet
running TCP/IP, X.25 (public and private), and asynchronous (such as
uucp and kermit). The software is in PL/1 and C, with new development
in C (MicroSoft C on the PCs).

Please send resumes or questions either electronically or via one of
the methods described in the signature. PostScript format is ok. We
cannot handle anything that needs to be handled by a text formatter.

This is the repost that was promised because of the holiday season.
