While the Depraz Mouse looks cute and feels nice, the hemisphere is so large that it is difficult to have your fingers on the buttons and the heel of your hand on the table at the same time. Having the heel of your hand on the table makes fine positioning with the hand easier. Also, having the buttons move in the plane of the table instead of perpendicular to it means that there is a tendency to move the mouse inadvertently when pushing the buttons. But the insides appear to be superior in principle to other mechanical mice I have seen and the insides are much smaller than the current hemisphere.
