Following the successful deployment of these two applications, Quintus and Intergraph have defined six additional applications for Quintus Prolog. These applications will use the strengths of Quintus' embeddable Prolog and focus on: o meta programming (writing applications about applications), o data manipulation, o using Prolog as a database and, o reasoning. The final applications will be deployed commercially and/or used internally to support Intergraph operations. Quintus is looking for the first of five hires for Huntsville. Once the six projects are confirmed, the individual will either be guiding/consulting to the applications area or be actually writing the code and integrating it into the application. The Huntsville Quintus Prolog personnel will report to Mr. Lawrence Byrd, VP, Applications Engineering at Quintus Corporation in Palo Alto, California.
