Intergraph Corporation's Electronics Division has asserted itself as a major
force in the electronics design automation marketplace by expanding into
DAZIX, An Intergraph Company. Now more than ever, we are committed to
meeting the demands of the 90's and beyond.
We have an immediate opening in the SOFTWARE ENGINEERING department at our
headquarters in Huntsville, Alabama. The department facilitates SOFTWARE
ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER to the software product groups at DAZIX and
throughout Intergraph. This group is leading a systematic approach to a
software engineering implementation strategy consisting of:
- Regular assessment of practices and tools.
- Education of the software engineering staff.
- Justification, selection, standardization, and development of processes,
methods, and tools.
- Implementation into practice of new processes, methods, and tools.
Candidates should have a thorough understanding of the commercial software
product development process; a strong education and experience in software
engineering, including computer science, engineering, and project management;
and excellent communication skills.
