Request for Sample X programs and info.
I am on a Vax Ultrix 2.0 system and the only X-Windows related manual I
have is Binder 2 of Ultrix-32w series from DEC.
(Containing 1. Technical Summary,
2. Using and Customizing the Window Manager,
3. Services reference)
I am new to the X-windows world, and interested in writing some
applications using X routines to do handle input fields and menus.
XMenu should take care of menus, I think. But I don't have any
examples to look at, and the information in the abovementioned
manuals seems insufficient to go on with. (I have also tried to
locate the source code for the demo programs without success.)
I would really appreciate if someone would send me some simple
(example) programs that show how X-Window calls are made in
actual code. Any other DEC Manual I should get, or any other
source of information would be of great help.
