At the Summer'88 USENIX conference, one of the speakers (I forget his name sorry) who is a Member of Technical Staff at Bellcore, said that they were going to release the sources to their window manager, called MGR, very soon. There was an interesting analogy made in comparing MGR to X-Windows (i.e. UNIX/MULTICS ~ MGR/X-WINDOWS). Does anyone know what its status is?
