[comp.windows.misc] Writing Microsoft Windows apps using Modula-2

[I am posting this message for a co-worker that doesn't have usenet
access. PLEASE DON'T REPLY TO TO THE NET. I posted this to a few
newsgroups (sorry), and I don't want to be responsible for cluttering
them up. Respond to me (paths at .signature below), and if anyone
expresses an interest, I'll post a summary to comp.lang.modula2, as
well as routing this to the author.]

@ Out of personal curiosity, I am wondering how much interest there is
@ in developing applications for Microsoft Windows using Modula-2.
@
@ Not everybody wants to use 'C', most noteably, the European market.
@ While it is possible to use Microsoft Pascal for such applications,
@ this route is not for the faint of heart.
@
@ Currently, StonyBrook Inc. produces a Modula-2 compiler that is
@ capable of working in the Microsoft Windows environment, but they
@ have not yet put together all of the proper modules for making this
@ as painless as it could be. Logitech Inc. has also expressed an
@ interest in incorporating Windows compatibility into their Modula-2
@ compiler.
@
@ What I am interested in, answers to the following questions from
@ parties who are interested in using Modula-2 for writing applications
@ for Microsoft Windows:
@
@ 1. How interested are you in writing Modula-2 applications for
@ Microsoft Windows?
@
@ 2. Have you evaluated the possibility yourself, if so, to what end?
@
@ 3. Are you currently programming in Modula-2?
@
@ 4. What Modula-2 Compiler do you use?
@
@ 5. What type of applications do you write?
