[comp.windows.misc] Need equivalent to XWindows on DOS-based PC.

Greetings,

I have written an application on UNIX based HP9000 s300
using X11 R4 & C.  I have used simple things like
Panels, Menus, Scrollbar Editors, etc. of X11.

Now, I need to write the same thing on DOS based NCR-486
using Microsoft-C 6.0.

Could somebody advise me about the Graphics Package that I need to use ?
I have been told that Microsoft Windows Software Developers' Kit
is the CLOSEST thing to X11 in UNIX environment. Is that right ?

Please send the information to the email address below.

Thanks in advance,
- vish

[Summary of replies for my query on Graphics Package equivalent to X11 in DOS
 environment.]

1.	Quarterdeck's DesqView/X about to be released
2.	Borland's C++ 2.0
3.	Microsoft's SDK (apparently tough to program in this)

Thanks once again for the response.
