I'm posting for a friend who's an MS Windows programmer who would like to know how Geos compares with MS Windows (speedwise, libraries, etc). Any other information on Geos (e.g. evaluation of its performance) would be much appreciated. Has there been much previous discussion on this? If there has been, then please forgive my ignorance, and I would appreciate your directing me to the proper archive of this discussion.
