[comp.windows.misc] Creating icons for non-windows apps

lens@tramp.Colorado.EDU (Mike Seebeck) (06/08/91)

Is there a way to draw an icon for a non-windows app using the
windows drawing tool? I have done this in suntools but have
not found any reference to it in the several windows books
that I checked in.

There is a program called ICON MASTER, not in the Public Domain, that not
only lets you create icons or import them from several sources, it lets you
go into .exe files that *have* icons embedded in them and edit the existing
icons.
