Once in a while, a mailer somewhere finds a machine down and directs an error message, containing a complete WORKS digest, into the USENet newsgroup net.works. This happened to Vol 3, issue 11 (Apr 27). THIS ISSUE CONTAINED ITEMS THAT NEVER APPEARED ON USENet! In particular, it appears that the items submitted from ARPA sites don't normally make it onto USENet... unlike net.unix-wizards submissions which are automatically sent on to us out here in UN*X land. (Specifically, the items on the Lisa doing well at the Hanover fair and a long discussion of RT-11 floppies didn't make it to net.works). If someone knows how to fix this, I'd be grateful if they would; or if I can contact someone to fix this, please let me know whom I should contact.
