With regards to Tandy pushing CoCo's, here is some prices that might interest you people in the rest of the world. ( Note that these prices are in Australian dollars, and are approximate only. ) CoCo3/128k $A400 CM-8 $A700 Drive 0 & Cntrl $A450 OS9 L2 $A120 Developers kit $A200 C compiler $A180 Multivue $A100 Yet on the other hand an XT clone costs about $A1200 for a base model with twin floppies and mono monitor, and for $A2200 you can get an AT clone (12Mhz) with 20Meg hard disk. Theres not much Tandy can do to make prices competitive with MS-DOS machines, and the CoCo marketing is almost non-existent. You walk into a Tandy store and half the time the CoCo display is turned off. The other half all it is doing is displaying the picture of the 3 wise men :-) Regards, Peter Milway ACSnet: rcoem@yabbie UUCP: ...!uunet!munnari!yabbie.rmit.oz!rcoem CSNET: rcoem@yabbie.rmit.oz ARPA: rcoem%yabbie.rmit.oz@uunet.uu.net BITNET: rcoem%yabbie.rmit.oz@CSNET-RELAY PHONE: + 61 3 660 2495 Digital Systems & Computer Engineering, Department of Communication & Electronic Engineering, Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, P.O.
