Can any OS9 users tell me how to configure a 6551 Acia using the xmode command. I believe the parameters that need to be set are: type=<Hex number> baud=<Decimal number> I have had the RS-232 working from outside OS9, so I know that the physical connections are correct. The system I am using is the Eurohard License of OS9 for the Dragon 64. I have data for the 6551s internal registers, but I can't get the interface to work setting the parameters thus: type -> Control register most significant nibble of baud -> Command register Any help appreciated. Thanks. +-------------------+---------------------------------------------------------+ | |\ |\ . | _ | Why are there 1001 reasonable ways to wire an RS-232 | | | \| \ | |/ /_\ | cable, 1001 of which are completely and utterly wrong? | | | \| |\ \__ | | +-------------------+---------------------------------------------------------+ | Mike Miller, UG, Dep.
