Hi there I need help. I mean, is it possible to build help files? I have something in my mind like the help of a PDP or a VAX. BTW, I'm running OS-9 professional on an 68020 system. Is it possible to pass parameters or options to a procedure file? Something more advanced then the Cfp? Thanks in advance - Michael

It shouldn't be very hard to port to OS-9 one of the help packages that have been posted to the net. Concerning shell scripts aka procedure files: no, the Microware shells provide no way to pass parameters, or give you control flow or other things Bourne/C shell folks are accustomed to. There are third-party shells that do, though. (Microware gives away a book called *The OS-9 Sourcebook* that lists hardware and third-party software; while no such book can be complete thanks to time's winged chariot :-), it's worth having.) James Jones (I guess all I can disclaim here is association with the third parties :-)
