I have to agree strongly with Bob Larson. Source code is the only way to go for anyone who's even the least bit concerned for his system's security. If people without a given compiler want to accept binaries, that's fine with me. But as long as I have the necessary development tools, I want to build from source. It's the only way I distribute my software. (Perhaps this attitude stems from working for a university, whose purpose is to create and *disseminate* knowledge.)
