I recently started a project on a 68000-based os9 machine. umacs is the supplied editor, but I'm used to (and prefer) VI. I use an editor called 'stevie' on my PC and might try to get it running under os9. I want to know if anyone knows of a version of vi (or stevie) for os9. umacs is fine, but I want to try to get vi. Thank you for your support. (e-mail, rather than news, would be great, as I don't get to rn much nowadays) many thanks j Mark Holt ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ______ ___ ___ <\ \ /| \ <\ \ | GO WOLFPACK! \\ \ || \ \\ \ | jmh@cscosl.ncsu.edu \\ \ \ || \___\ \ | \\ \ \_|| |\ ____ \ | "A squid eating dough in a __\\ \`-- ' \\ <--\\ \ | polyethylene bag Is fast <\ \\\ \ \\ \ \\ \ | and bulbous. I have send my patches (containing also many bug fixes) to the author of stevie, Tony Andrews, a few days ago. Perhaps he may want to incorporate the changes into his original sources. Meanwhile, if somebody is interested in the diffs, I'll be able to e-mail them. > (e-mail, rather than > news, would be great, as I don't get to rn much nowadays) I believe this topic is of greater interest, therefore I decided to post. -- -- Helge Oldach ..!unido!stollco!he he@sephh.hh.sub.org
