[net.news.group] How about net.lang.mumps

Since the second Ansi Standard is in the evaluation phase for Mumps
(ANSI X-11.1) and there are (to my knowledge) at least a dozen folks
on the net who are either directly involved with the standard (several
on the ARPA net as well), is there sufficient interest to start a
newsgroup for the language? I feel that an ongoing electronic
discussion greatly facilitates both the evolution of any computer
system as well as speeds up the ANSI process (at the several meetings
each year people spend a significant amount of time getting back on
the learning curve and there isn't enought time to cover ideas in
sufficient detail at the meetings anyway). I would also like to
see the UN*X standards being discussed on the net as well for
similar reasons. Perhaps this all belongs under net.std - I don't
really care where, I just want to see it!

Respond any way you see fit! I will respond appropriately!

How about using net.lang until the need for the separate
group is justified? It may save us having to remove an
unwanted group.
